In preparation for the eventuality of emergencies or disasters occurring during a normal workday, Mr. Camilo Meléndez, the Emergency Coordinator of the Department of Housing and the Public Housing Administration (AVP), organized a training to guide key employees on all floors of the Juan César Cordero Dávila building and branches of both agencies and the CDBG-DR program, in the event of an earthquake, emergency, or disaster being declared.

The workshop was offered by consultant Mr. Héctor Torres and the CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) course trainer, Julio Ortiz, from the San Juan area of ​​the State Agency for Emergency Management and Disaster Administration (AEMEAD), and Mr. Juan Delgado, also an AEMEAD trainer.
