In celebration of Women's Month in March, the Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) office, attached to the Department of Housing's Human Resources Assistant Secretariat, held a workshop for women, led by Ms. Enery Ortiz, the motivational speaker and president of the organization Women Against Adversity Inc. (Mujeres ante la adversidad, Inc.).

Through stories from her own life, about how she overcame and overcame various situations and illnesses, Ms. Ortiz emphasized that, whether women or men, everyone can overcome their hardships and, with the help of family, colleagues, friends, and God, overcome the obstacles and setbacks that life presents. Through videos and entertaining activities, employees of the Department of Housing, its Public Housing Administration (AVP), and the CDBG-DR Program were able to spend a morning in camaraderie and, above all, to say Yes to Life and No to Violence Against Women or anyone else.
