Río Grande - Governor Jenniffer González Colón and the Undersecretary of the Department of Housing, Omar Figueroa Vázquez, representing Secretary Ciary Pérez Peña, along with the Mayor of Río Grande, Ángel “Bori” González Damudt, presented four property titles to residents of this municipality. These families are Pastor Thelma Hiraldo Martínez, Mr. Víctor Solís Rivera, Ms. Mirna Rivera Ortiz, the family of Mr. Edgardo Hernández and Ms. Wanda Calcaño, and the family of Mr. Efraín Pacheco Ramos and Ms. América Guerra Figueroa. This delivery of property titles now provides security and belonging to these families in the city of El Yunque, Río Grande.

Following this activity, the governor, along with agency heads, was welcomed by the mayor and his team for a meeting attended by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Carlos "Johnny" Méndez Núñez, and the Undersecretary of Housing. They reviewed the progress of several recovery and mitigation projects being carried out in the municipality through the CDBG-DR/MIT Program. This discussion reaffirmed the commitment of the governor and the Ministry of Housing to accelerate construction projects in the municipality.
