As part of Governor Pedro Pierluisi's commitment to the health and recovery of Puerto Rico, Secretary of the Department of Housing William Rodríguez recently announced, along with the Island's Chief Executive, the granting of a $49 million loan to Ponce Health Sciences University, under the Investment Portfolio Program (IPG) of CDBG DR funds.

According to the Secretary, the loan will enable the expansion and development of the university campus of this private institution while offering improved services to the citizens who seek medical services at the institution.
