San Juan - The Department of Housing and its affiliated agency, the Public Housing Administration (PHA), recognized the efforts of 19 students residing in various PHA communities, who earned excellent grades of four (4.0) at their senior year graduation. The "4 Point Party" event was held at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in the Miramar Convention District.

As part of the recognition, the PHA also awarded each of these 19 graduates an educational trip to Orlando, Florida. There, they will have the opportunity to visit museums and learning spaces that will enrich their knowledge and broaden their perspective, thus contributing to their personal and intellectual development.

Other students from the public education system, as well as students residing in communities of the Office for Socioeconomic and Community Development of Puerto Rico (ODSEC), also received various awards and certificates of achievement from the Department of Education and ODSEC.

The students received their awards from officials and the special guest, Governor Jenniffer González Colón, who thanked the students for their efforts and the public agency officials for organizing this event to recognize the academic excellence of students from public schools throughout Puerto Rico.
