Guayama - Staff from the Department of Housing's Office of Emergency Management and Disaster Administration, headed by Antonio Morales Rivera, met with Housing staff from the Guayama region, who are part of the Emergency Management team, to finalize and review plans for this hurricane season, which began on June 1 and runs through November 30.

The Department's Secretary, Ciary Pérez Peña, is committed to continuing to train this staff, both at the central office in Hato Rey and at the agency's 12 regional offices on the island, to provide prompt service to citizens in cases of emergency or disaster.
