San Juan – The Department of Housing has taken a significant step to care for those most in need. The agency's secretary signed two agreements integrating the Department of the Family and CoC PR-502, an organization that coordinates services for people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness, to provide housing alternatives with support services for individuals and families, ensuring better coordination during emergencies. CoC PR-502 is comprised of representatives from various sectors.

Those participating in the signing of the agreement included Housing Secretary Ciary Pérez Peña, Secretary of the Department of the Family Suzanne Roig Fuertes, Public Housing Administrator Juan A. Rosario Hernández, and Belinda Hill, president of CoC PR-502.
