Hato Rey - The Secretary of the Department of Housing, Ciary Pérez Peña, received in her offices the Coordinator of Government Efficiency, Ldda. Veronica Ferraiuoli Hornedo.

The secretary and part of the CDBG-DR/MIT program team presented Ferraiuoli with the Mitigation and Adaptation Policy Support Program, an initiative of the Department that is carried out with federal mitigation funds through the CDBG-MIT program. It seeks to strengthen interagency collaboration to accelerate reconstruction and mitigation, which consists of preventing future damage in the event of an emergency or natural catastrophe, such as floods, landslides, coastal erosion, and others.
