San Juan - The Secretary of the Department of Housing, Ciary Pérez Peña, held a meeting with the Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Ports Authority, Norberto Negrón Díaz, to follow up on several projects under the CDBG-MIT Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.

During the meeting, in which officials discussed with their teams, emphasis was placed on two important initiatives: the rehabilitation of the passenger terminal and improvements to the airfield at the Aguadilla Airport, as well as the construction of a new pier in Guaynabo, which will expand cargo capacity in Puerto Rico.

This meeting is part of the joint efforts among agencies to streamline the development and implementation processes for projects that strengthen the island's critical infrastructure, as outlined by Governor Jenniffer González Colón.
