San Juan – Secretary of the Department of Housing, Ciary Pérez Peña, continued her visit to the Municipality of Culebra, accompanied by Governor Jenniffer González Colón and several agency heads, with an inspection of the Varadero Food Court project.

This municipal initiative, funded by CDBG-State funds, aims to strengthen the local economy and expand the culinary offerings for residents and visitors. The project will create a modern, organized, and accessible space for small businesses, fostering development opportunities and tourism activity on the island municipality.

The day also included a visit to the Culebra airport, where improvements to the runway at the Benjamín Rivera Noriega Airport were highlighted.
