Secretary William Rodríguez Rodríguez of the Department of Housing participated as a guest at the Puerto Rico Mayors Association's "Encuentro de Ciudades" summit. His participation was to provide an update on projects under development or in advanced stages of planning in various municipalities across the island that are being implemented under CDBG-DR/MIT recovery funds.

As part of this work and after participating in an informational panel at the meeting, Secretary Rodríguez, along with staff from the disaster recovery program, had the opportunity to speak with several mayors about the initiatives and collaboration between their municipalities and the Department of Housing and the CDBG-DR/MIT program to continue moving forward with the recovery and transformation of Puerto Rico.
