Río Grande – After several decades of waiting to obtain her property title, the Undersecretary of the Department of Housing, Omar Figueroa, visited the home of Mrs. Norberta Ramos in the Malpica neighborhood of Río Grande and presented it to her.
“We have come here to personally deliver this property title, which Mrs. Ramos and her family have been waiting for for years in this neighborhood of Río Grande. This is the commitment of our Secretary of Housing, Ciary Pérez Peña, to continue promoting the delivery of these titles to people like Mrs. Norberta, who has waited so long for this title,” said Figueroa Vázquez.
The mayor, Ángel "Bori" González, joined the simple but emotional ceremony and thanked Governor Jenniffer González Colón, who recently visited his municipality to deliver other titles and promised to deliver this document to Mrs. Norberta. She also thanked Secretary Ciary Pérez Peña and the regional director and the Housing team of the Carolina Region, Ms. Omayra Betancourt, for promptly addressing this case and, in doing so, making the dream of Mrs. Norberta, who has been bedridden for several years and is cared for by her family, a reality.
