Villalba – The Undersecretary of the Department of Housing, Attorney Omar Figueroa, recently visited the city of Villalba to meet with Mayor Danny “Dan” Santiago to follow up on several projects underway in the City of Advancements. Also present at the meeting were the Deputy Administrator of the Public Housing Administration (AVP), Alberto Fradera; Senator Wilmer Reyes Berríos, representing the Guayama district; and Villalba Municipal Representative Omayra Morales. Among the projects underway are improvements to Villalba's public square.

The visit also provided an opportunity for the Deputy Administrator of the AVP to exchange ideas with the mayor regarding the improvement process for the Enudio Negrón, Efraín Suárez, and Máximo Miranda Jiménez public housing complexes, managed by MJ Consulting.
