Carolina – As a new school semester begins, our Undersecretary of the Department of Housing, Atty. Omar Figueroa Vázquez, visited the Francisco Matías Lugo Elementary School in Carolina to join in welcoming students on their first day of classes. Attorney Figueroa shared time with the faculty and delivered a message to the children on behalf of our secretary, Ciary Pérez Peña.

Attorney Figueroa joined the principal of Francisco Matías Lugo school on a tour of the campus and committed to assisting with improvements to the facility. The school was adopted by Housing at the beginning of the current school year in August. We wish success to every student at the school and to all students in Puerto Rico in this second school semester.
