San Juan – To help more families obtain their own homes, the Department of Housing removed legal restrictions on certain lots that required them, following the public policy established by Governor Jenniffer González Colón and Secretary of Housing Ciary Pérez Peña. As part of this process, Michelle Díaz Navedo, Assistant Secretary of the Department's Property Acquisition and Sale Division, signed four deeds. These cases are located in Bayamón, Arecibo, Coamo, and Ponce.

The photos capture the moment when the attorneys representing the families signed the new deeds for the lots that the Department of Housing sold to them. The attorneys are Rossana Rivera, Cristino Agosto Reyes, Wanda Aragonés Calvo, and Yomara Arvelo López.
